Product Advantages
Exceptional Thermal Resistance: NOMEX 410 paper withstands continuous temperatures up to 220°C, far exceeding standard cable paper, making it suitable for high-heat applications.
Significant Weight Savings: Aluminum core is 30% lighter than copper, reducing overall equipment weight, ideal for aerospace and automotive applications.
Superior Dielectric Strength: NOMEX 410 paper provides higher breakdown voltage than standard cable paper, offering reliable insulation in high-voltage systems.
Fire Resistance: NOMEX 410 is inherently flame-retardant, self-extinguishing, and does not emit toxic fumes when exposed to fire, enhancing safety.
Mechanical Durability: Resists abrasion, tearing, and creasing during installation and operation, ensuring long-term performance.
Product Features
Uniform Wrapping: NOMEX 410 paper is wrapped with consistent tension and 15-25% overlap, ensuring no gaps in insulation and reliable performance.
Smooth Edges: Aluminum flat conductor has rounded edges (radius ≥ 0.15mm) to prevent paper damage during wrapping and handling.
Moisture Resistance: NOMEX 410 paper has low water absorption (< 3% in 24 hours), maintaining insulation properties in humid environments.
Chemical Resistance: Resists oils, greases, and many industrial solvents, suitable for harsh industrial settings.
Flexibility: Easily bent and shaped (minimum bend radius: 3× thickness) without compromising insulation integrity.
Product Process
Conductor Forming: Aluminum rods are rolled into flat strips, then annealed to achieve the desired ductility for wrapping and installation.
Surface Cleaning: The aluminum flat conductor is degreased and dried to ensure proper adhesion with NOMEX 410 paper.
NOMEX 410 Paper Wrapping: Automated machines wrap NOMEX 410 paper around the aluminum conductor with precise tension, ensuring uniform coverage and overlap.
Heat Treatment: Wrapped wire undergoes a mild heat treatment (120-150°C) to set the paper and improve adhesion.
Quality Testing: Includes breakdown voltage testing, insulation thickness measurement, and thermal shock testing (-55°C to 220°C).
Spooling: Wound onto plastic or metal spools (5kg to 40kg capacity) for easy integration into manufacturing processes.
Main Application Fields
Aerospace Electrical Systems: Motors, generators, and transformers in aircraft, where weight savings and high-temperature resistance are critical.
Automotive Industry: Electric vehicle traction motors, hybrid vehicle components, and high-temperature engine bay electrical systems.
Industrial Motors: Large industrial motors operating in high-temperature environments, such as those in steel mills and foundries.
Power Generation: Generators, transformers, and control systems in power plants, especially those with high ambient temperatures.
Railway Systems: Traction motors and electrical components in locomotives and high-speed trains, where reliability and heat resistance are essential.
